What can EUCIS-LLL offer to your European network?

Enabling exchanges of practices, experiences and expertise
In EUCIS-LLL you will find a forum for cooperation between education and training actors as well new partners to build innovative projects. Exchanging experiences, ideas and best practices will offer you the possibility to benefit from a board range of expertise and innovate practices in the lifelong learning sector. EUCIS-LLL can help you to raise your profile and to disseminate your events and activities via our newsletter and website. It is a good way to share the results of your projects and good practices with other actors on the field. Furthermore, EUCIS-LLL is organising several public hearings and events where you can actively participate.
Giving a voice to your concerns
EUCIS-LLL is a good tool to push forward strong messages to EU institutions. Our members can decide to take positions on transversal topics on lifelong learning but also other related issues such as civil dialogue, active citizenship or the EU budget. For instance, EUCIS-LLL is also co-organising with the DG Education Culture the Stakeholders’ Forum on EU cooperation in education and training. This event is a key moment for EU representatives and stakeholders to exchange on major policy developments. Furthermore, we can help you to organise events in Brussels if you are based outside Belgium.
Promoting a more democratic, civic and social Europe
EUCIS-LLL advocates for stronger consultation and participation processes for stakeholders. It promotes the idea that parents, educators or learners shall be involved in policy development, implementation and evaluation at all levels. EUCIS-LLL is active in other civil society groups in order to promote these ideas as well as to raise awareness on lifelong learning issues. It is a member of the Civil Society Contact Group (CSCG) and of the European Economic and Social Committee Liaison Group (EESC-LG). Members can benefit from this privileged position in order to push forward and promote a more democratic, civic and social Europe.
Offering updated information on key policy issues
Be aware on what is going on in the EU and the education and training sector via our internal mailing list and monthly newsletter to increase the impact of your work. EUCIS-LLL Newsletter includes regular features on EU policy developments, members’ activities and forthcoming events on education and training related issues. EUCIS-LLL prepares regular information notes about major policy developments (Europe 2020, ET2020, Youth on the Move, Budget review, etc.) in order to put all its members at a same level of understanding.
Getting involved in EUCIS-LLL activities and events
EUCIS-LLL tackles transversal topics on lifelong learning that concern all of its members (social dimension of education and training, permeability and connectivity between sub-sectors, volunteering, innovation in learning, etc.). The key messages that emerge from our events and working groups are communicated to EU institutions via our position papers or via meetings with their key representatives. EUCIS-LLL added value is thus to offer a transversal perspective on these issues.
