Pluralism in Assessment Conference, 15 January 2016
What effects do standardised tests have on the quality of teaching and the well-being of students and teachers? The results of the PISA studies further contributed to the growing reliance of governments on standardised tests. This trend coincides with growing levels of stress in the classroom and less time for creative and self-organised work. Can we find assessment methods that support students’ learning outcomes and their well-being holistically? The Pluralism in Assessment conference co-organised by ECSWE and UEF is meant to look into the effects of standardised testing and assessment on both teachers and students. The conference will take place on 15 January 2016 in Luxembourg.Registrations are now open.
