myworld_logo8b4b6bMore than 7 million people from all over the world have so far replied to a survey, called MyWorld2015, the preliminary results of which show that good education is considered to be the main priority to boost development. According to data released by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) office in Madrid, “Good education” has received so far 4.6 million votes, “Better healthcare” almost 3.9 million votes, and in third place “Better job opportunities” received 3.8 million votes. MY World is a global survey for citizens led by the UN and partners. It aims to capture people’s voices, so that global leaders can be informed as they begin the process of defining the new development agenda for the world. EUCIS-LLL would like to take this opportunity to remind of the importance of education in the upcoming European Year of Development 2015.
