European Parliament Report on Learning and Teaching Technology Options
The Parliament issued a Report on Learning and teaching technology options. It addresses the question of how governments should allocate funding in order to add more value to the educational system through technology. It analyses emerging educational technologies, new ways of teaching and learning fostered by those technologies, the role of different educational stakeholders, and other contextual considerations. It also offers several policy proposal assessments. EUCIS-LLL has stressed the need for member States to adopt national plans regarding the implementation of the “Opening up Education” Communication of 2013 (see position paper and report from our last policy debate on the topic).
